Roma are reportedly looking at Mika Marmol of Las Palmas as a possible January reinforcement.
The capital club are in fact prioritizing the addition of another centreback.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 23-year-old from Las Palmas is out of contract in June 2026 and has no intention of renewing his contract.
The centre-back (who also plays as a left-back) has a release clause of 10 million euros, although Roma would like to offer seven immediately.
The Giallorossi are in fact preparing their first bid for him.
The alternative is to let the player finish the season in the Canaries and then sign him next summer, while in the meantime focusing on a loan deal.
Other clubs are also interested, including Girona, Como and Real Betis.
Las Palmas is aiming to monetize as much as possible, given that 50% of the transfer fee will go to Barcelona.
