Roma Still Looking To Poach Inter Milan Executive Amid Behind-The-Scenes Restructuring

Roma are still hoping to bring in Inter Milan Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello as part of their behind-the-scenes restructuring.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They note that the executive’s absence from the Nerazzurri Christmas party was not due to these links, however.

Roma are currently trying to rebuild behind the scenes.

This follows the departure of former CEO Lina Soukou. She exited in the wake of the controversial sacking of Daniele De Rossi as coach.

And there is one name that has persistently emerged as a potential target for the Giallorossi.

Roma Still Hoping To Bring In Inter Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello

59-year-old executive Antonello has been at Inter since 2017.

In his role as Corporate CEO, Antonello has been the mastermind behind Inter’s commercial strategy.

Moreover, Antonello has also been at the heart of Inter’s efforts to construct a new stadium.

Antonello has been a key figures behind the scenes at the Nerazzurri for several years. He was very influential under the ownership of Suning.

However, there are rumours that with the arrival of Oaktree Capital as owners, there could be some changes behind the scenes at Inter.

And Roma could take advantage. Reportedly, they have been trying to convince Antonello to live Inter and come to the Italian capital.

Meanwhile, Antonello was not at Inter’s recent Christmas party. This led to one or two rumours about his future.

However, according to La Repubblica, this absence was due to prior commitments and had nothing to do with links to Roma.
