(WYMT) – A great opening week of Mountain basketball was capped off by the Hazard DJ Begley Classic at Memorial Gym.

No. 2 Hazard tops Ashland Blazer at DJ Begley Classic

No. 2 Hazard started the season with an impressive season opener victory over rival Breathitt Co. and then followed that up with a matchup against the reigning 16th Region Champion Ashland Blazer at the DJ Begley Classic on Friday, Dec. 6.
