Just when you thought the Knicks were done wheeling and dealing for the offseason, they pulled off another blockbuster.
New York reportedly reached an agreement with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night to acquire Karl-Anthony Towns in exchange for a package including Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo.
While the Knicks have been looking for a big man to fill in for Mitchell Robinson, and they’ve been engaging with team on a potential Randle trade since early in the offseason, this move certainly came as a surprise.
