According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Serie A official Davide Massa will be punished for his performance in the recent Napoli-Roma.
The newspaper states that Massa’s performance will come back to haunt him in the upcoming Serie A round.
Massa is likely to be demoted to being the fourth official or not referee at all this upcoming weekend.
His superiors see to have taken issue with the fact that Massa did not show any yellow cards to Romelu Lukaku, who was deserving of two already prior to his winning goal for the Partenopei.
