Singapore Airlines has been crowned Asia’s leading airline at this year’s World Travel Awards, surpassing 13 other nominees, including Korean Air, Air China, Cathay Pacific, and Vietnam Airlines.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that Singapore’s flag carrier has claimed this title.
In addition to the top honor, Singapore Airlines was also voted “Asia’s Leading Airline – First Class” and “Asia’s Leading Airline to the Indian Ocean.”
Founded in 1972, Singapore Airlines has established a longstanding reputation for excellence in safety, service, and overall customer experience.
In July, the carrier was named the most loved international airline by readers of the American magazine Travel+Leisure at the World’s Best Awards, praised for its “excellent in-flight service and cabin comfort.”
The World Travel Awards, established in 1993, recognize excellence in the travel and tourism industry and are often referred to as the “Oscars of the travel industry.” These awards are determined by votes from both travel industry professionals and the general public.
