SP 11 Mandi lift Satguru Pratap Singh cricket tournament trophy – The Tribune

SP 11 Mandi defeated Finance 11 by 6 wickets to claim a remarkable victory at the 36th Satguru Pratap Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament, recently organised by Namdhari Sports Club.

Batting first, the finance team managed to score only 95 runs in 6 overs.

Manish Sharma contributed 28 runs, while Sahil scored 16.

SP 11 Mandi’s bowlers maintained tight control, with Vivek Sen and Balvinder taking 2 wickets each, and Om Prakash and Mahender taking 1 wicket each.

DSP Dinesh Kumar also showcased excellent fielding skills. SP 11 Mandi successfully chased the target, losing only 4 wickets to secure the win.

Local MLA Anil Sharma, as the chief guest at the event, honoured the winners, runners-up and other participants with awards.

District Sports Officer Deepti Vaidya, Mandi Mayor Virender Bhatt and MC Councillor Virender Arya were among those present at the event.

Namdhari Sports Club general secretary Rajender Pal Raja expressed his delight at the success of the tournament, and extended his best wishes to the organisers and participants.
