St. Cloud State Men’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schedule – St. Cloud State University Athletics

St. Cloud, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men’s Basketball has announced their 2024-25 schedule. The Huskies are set to play 30 games with 14 of them coming at Halenbeck Hall. The schedule consists of 23 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opponents and seven non-conference opponents. The season will tip off on Saturday, November 2 as the Huskies travel down to Canyon, Texas to face-off against Lubbock Christian University and then Missouri Western State University on November 3 for the D2 Tip-Off Event.

 

Following the two-day event in Texas, St. Cloud State will go north to Kansas and play in the KC Crossover Event where they will play Central Missouri and Pittsburg State on November 8 and 9.

 

The Huskies will then return to Minnesota for a three game homestand against Concordia-St. Paul, Upper Iowa, and Northland College. The home opener against Concordia-St. Paul is set for Thursday, November 14.

 

The next three games for St. Cloud State will take place on the road as they travel to Michigan to take on Michigan Tech on Wednesday, November 23. Following the battle of the Huskies, St. Cloud State will kick off NSIC play with two road games against Minot State and Minnesota Crookston on December 6 and 7.

 

Returning back to Halenbeck Hall, the Huskies will host Minnesota State Moorhead on December 13, Northern State on December 14, and then Mary on December 17. St. Cloud State will close out 2024 on the road against Bemidji State on December 19.

 

St. Cloud State will ring in the new year with two home games Augustana and Wayne State on January 3 and 4. The next four games will be on the road with the Huskies traveling to Concordia-St. Paul on January 8, Minnesota Duluth on January 11, Winona State on January 17, and then the reigning NSIC Champion and Division II Champion Minnesota State Mankato on January 18.

 

St. Cloud State will finish off January with a three game homestand. Starting with Sioux Falls on January 24, the Huskies will then have a playoff rematch against Southwest Minnesota State on January 25. The Mustangs eliminated the Huskies in last season’s playoffs. Bemidji State will come to town on January 28 to close out the homestand.

 

Four of the next five games will take place on the road as St. Cloud State travels to Minnesota State Moorhead on February 1 and then to Mary on February 5. The Huskies will return to Halenbeck Hall for one game against Minot State on February 8 before heading to Nebraska to take on Wayne State on February 14 and then to South Dakota to take on Augustana on February 15.

 

The Huskies will close out the regular season with two home games against Minnesota State Mankato on February 21and then Winona State on February 22.

 

The NSIC Quarterfinals is set for February 26 and will take place at home sites. Following the Quarterfinals, the remaining teams will travel to the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. to battle for the NSIC Tournament Championship. The tournament will start on March 1 and last until March 5.
