Steph Curry Is Truly A Basketball Demon

One of the best parts of the NBA season being back in action is the return of Late Night Steph Curry. You know who I’m talking about. The player that defines the phrase “Must Watch”. You quite literally cannot look away from your screen when he’s on the floor. Every time he touches the ball you’re holding your breath because everyone on the planet knows he’s about to do some vintage lethal Steph Curry shit like only he can.

There is nothing, and I mean nothing more electric in all of sports than Steph Curry on a heater. We saw it in the Olympics we’ve seen it a thousand times before, and we saw it again tonight. Just one of the most dominant closes to a game you will ever see

Mind you, this entire run to end the game started because of Steph’s defense on Luka. He tried to back him down, Steph was aggressive and used his length to cause a deflection and from there the Warriors were off and running

When Steph is locked in like this, there is nothing you can possibly do. Defense doesn’t work because he’s going to find a way to get switched onto your center, and it’s curtains from there. Praying doesn’t work because Steph is some sort of dark magic Basketball Demon that has somehow found new life. He’s as good as he’s ever been and now he has the team to support it. That’s what makes the Warriors so terrifying for the rest of the West. They aren’t cooked, they reloaded. And as long as Steph Curry is alive, nights like this aren’t the exception, they’re the norm. He did it against the Celtics to close that game and he did it again tonight. This is what he does, and it’s why Late Night Steph is the best way to close out a night. That’s a show that always delivers.

Meanwhile, the Mavs are now 5-6, and the Timberwolves are off to a 6-5 start. All while the Warriors improved to 9-2 and are tied for the best record in the conference. The way they defend and the depth that’s proving to be among the best in the league, you add in a better-than-ever Steph Curry to the mix and there’s no reason to think that things in the West are once again going to go through Golden State.
