The top 18 most difficult holes on the PGA Tour in 2024 were par 4s. No real surprise there.
The 19th was a par 3, and then you have to scroll all the way to No. 90 before you get to the first par 5 on the official list.
The hardest par 3 and the hardest par 5 were both courtesy of Royal Troon, home of the 2024 Open Championship. The 220-yard fifth hole proved to be the most difficult par 3 after producing an average score of 3.340. The 623-yard par-5 sixth hole at Royal Troon played to average score of 5.183 during the final major of the season.
In all, there were 738 holes used in tournament play during the season, and now that the Tour Championship is in the books, the 2024 season stats are official.
