JACKSON VILLAGE – Grey Gagnon shot an even-par medalist round of 36 as the Portsmouth High School golf team won a four-team match Thursday at Wentworth Golf Club.
Portsmouth had a team score of 194, beating St. Thomas Aquinas (210), Kingswood (213) and host Kennett (219).
“For the first time seeing this course, the kids played great,” Portsmouth head coach Kyle Harrison said. “They are controlling the golf ball, and for the most part, avoiding the big number.”
Turner Leduc shot a 1-over-par 37 for the Clippers, while Will Renna and Grant Haberstroh each shot a 40, and Thijs Beelen a 41.

Warriors win three-team match
HOLLIS – Winnacunnet’s Jimmy Schouller and Chris Berry, and Oyster River’s Teagan Nadeau all shared co-medalist honors of a 1-over-par 37 in this Division II match at Overlook Golf Club.
Winnacunnet won the match with a team score of 196, while Osyter River (216) and Hollis-Brookline (253) placed second and third, respectively.
Greyson Belliveau shot a 39 for the Warriors, and teammates Will Granger and Elliott Brinser shot a 41 and 43, respectively.
Oyster River’s Cole Dulac shot a 44.

HUDSON – Emery Lawton and Raegan Lawton each scored for the Clippers in this Division I match. Ailish Honda had two assists in the win, while teammates Morgan Ruhnke and Grace Ward both played well.
Portsmouth improved to 3-2.
