Torino coach Paolo Vanoli ‘angry’ after defeat to Roma

Torino manager Paolo Vanoli was not happy with the way his team failed to react in tonight’s defeat to Roma.

After the loss, Vanoli spoke to DAZN about the outcome of the match.

“I’m angry, we can’t allow ourselves to waste an entire half of football,” he said at full-time.

“We needed to play with more personality, we also knew we were facing a wounded team who could have started off on the wrong foot. We could have taken advantage of it.”

“Instead, we were passive, we have to find the desire to be protagonists again. In the second half I had to change to be more aggressive, but we can’t always take a slap to react”.
