Two reasons why Tesla shouldn’t be viewed as an AI play

Date:

One of the bull cases for Tesla (TSLA) is that it is an AI play, whether it’s through its Full Self-Driving program or its humanoid robot Optimus, among other AI-related efforts.

Radio Free Mobile Founder Richard Windsor disagrees with that notion because the company’s revenue comes from making and selling EVs. He argues the company’s “philosophical approach to how you solve the AI problems is not right.” Secondly, he thinks the business model the company is proposing for its robotaxis is “so fundamentally flawed that the shares are probably, even now, substantially overvalued.”
