The UConn women’s basketball team (4-0) heads to Nassau, Bahamas, to face Oregon State in the opening round of the 2024 Baha Mar Women’s Championship.
Led by All-American Paige Bueckers and the highly touted freshman Sarah Strong, the Huskies will look to extend their early-season momentum against an Oregon State squad that has struggled, entering the matchup with a 1-4 record.
The Huskies will be bolstered by the return of Azzi Fudd, who missed most of last season and played her first game in nearly a year last week against FDU.
If UConn manages to beat the Beavers, they will advance to play the winner of the No. 18 Ole Miss (3-1) and Boston College (6-1) game.
