LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on-scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC Fight Night 242 (ESPN+) fighter weigh-ins at the UFC Apex.
Among those weighing in were former welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns (22-7 MMA, 15-7 UFC) and Sean Brady (16-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC), who meet in the main event, and former women’s strawweight champion Jessica Andrade (26-12 MMA, 17-10 UFC) and Natalia Silva (17-5-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC), who fight in the women’s flyweight co-feature.
The four prominent names hit their marks, but two on the undercard came in heavy, including one scary weigh-in from prelim fighter Dylan Budka, who was 2.5 pounds over for his middleweight bout with Andre Petroski.
