Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program landed their first commitment in the 2025 class last week when Derek Dixon verbally committed to the program. Now, the staff are looking at the rest of their options, hoping to land another big recruit.
On Monday, the Tar Heels are hitting the road and will be in Indiana to visit with five-star shooting guard Braylon Mullins. Davis as well as two assistants will be there for the visit. The Indiana native is hitting the home stretch of his recruitment and this visit from UNC appears to be the Tar Heels’ final pitch for him.
Mullins is expected to make his decision sometime in October and with UNC, Indiana, and UConn as his finalists. This is also a recruitment that is tough to get a read on but we do know UNC has some tough competition, especially trying to pull him out of the state of Indiana.
UNC’s Hubert Davis and two assistants will be in today for five-star senior Braylon Mullins, a source told @Stockrisers. Indiana and UConn had an assistant in last week. Things ramping up in this one.

The 6-foot-5, 180-pound Mullins is ranked No. 16 nationally, the No. 4 shooting guard and No. 2 player in the state of Indiana per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
North Carolina’s 2025 class has just Dixon committed and is ranked No. 32 with just the one commitment. They still have some big targets left on their board, so that ranking will certainly increase as time goes on.
