MARIETTA — A man accused of causing the death of a Parkersburg woman riding in his vehicle when he crashed into a tree last year was among 18 people indicted this week by a Washington County Grand Jury.
Timothee Lee Singer, 30, last known address 73 Indian Head Drive, Heath, Ohio, was indicted on one count of first-degree felony aggravated vehicular homicide and a fourth-degree felony of vehicular homicide.
Nicole Kelly, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene of the June 16, 2023, crash. She was a passenger in a 2006 Ford Fusion driven by Singer that was traveling east on Ohio 676 when it went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Investigators suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash and both Singer and Kelly were not wearing seatbelts.
Others indicted included:
* Michael Tim Abdella, 40, 306 Washington Blvd, Belpre, second-degree misdemeanor of obstructing official business in February.
* German Delacruz-Lara, 47, last known address 4285 Broadway, lot C22, Grove City, Ohio; three counts of fifth-degree felony non-support of dependents from May 2018 to April 2024.
* Luther Hall, 32, last known address 3375 Burnett Road, Cutler, two counts of fifth-degree felony of nonsupport of dependents from April 2020 through March 2022.
* Larry M. Defrietas, 52, last known address 10 Jesse Run Road, Arnoldsburg, W.Va., one count of fourth-degree felony trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound and two counts of fourth-degree felony possession of a fentanyl related compound in February 2022.
* Billy Joe Robertson, 45, last known address 707 Elm St, Apartment A, Belpre, fourth-degree felony of domestic violence in April.
* Charles Wayne Carter, 56, last known address 704 Elm St. Apartment 8, Belpre, two counts of third-degree felony of strangulation, one count fourth-degree felony disrupting public services and one count of a misdemeanor of the first degree of domestic violence in May.
* Kaitlyn Brianna Hess, 25, last known address 1416 Bear Creek Church Road, Scott Depot, W.Va., fourth-degree felony failure to appear as required by recognizance in May.
* Breandan James Coughlin, 26, last known address 105 Watertown Road, Waterford, third-degree felony discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises with a weapon forfeiture specification, fourth-degree felony improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle with a weapon forfeiture specification and the first-degree misdemeanor of inducing panic in April.
* Vanessa Nicole Longfellow, 29, last known address 26935 State Route Seven Apartment 3A, Marietta, fifth-degree felony breaking and entering in April.
* Shawn Patrick Mathews, 55, last known address 511 Sixth St, Marietta, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs in August.
* Aysha Marie Ruiz, 40, last known address 11913 Franklin Blvd, Lakewood, Ohio, two counts of a fourth-degree felony operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them with a firearm specification of one year, one count of fifth-degree felony improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle with a weapon forfeiture specification, one count of third-degree felony illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility and two counts first-degree misdemeanor endangering children in May.
* Zair Cortez Laurent Edwards, 19, last known address 1771 Gaylord Drive, Akron, fifth-degree felony of assault in May.
* Joven Quinn Keeley Harris McLaughlin, 26, last known address 612 Second St, Marietta, fourth-degree felony of trespassing in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present in April.
* Mickie Devine Witt, 69, last known address 5157 Rowland Road, Apartment 3, Toledo, fourth-degree felony of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle with a forfeiture specification of a weapon in April.
* Steven Emory Fox, 51, last known address 275 Front St., Marietta, fifth-degree felony of violating a protection order in April.
* James Edward Ward, 44, last known address 742 Thomas Hollow Road, Tornado, W.Va., fifth-degree felony of theft in April 2023.
* Tyler Nathaniel Bailey, 42, last known address 205 Summit Road, Marietta, two counts of third-degree felony tampering with evidence, fifth-degree felony of aggravated possession of drugs and one count of fifth-degree felony of possessing criminal tools in April.
