Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry left their 112-104 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers early on Sunday night after rolling his ankle.

Curry tweaked his ankle twice in the second half of the contest at the Chase Center in San Francisco. He left the game briefly, but returned to the court a few minutes later and seemed totally fine. But then, while trying to set a screen in the corner, Curry rolled his left ankle hard.

Curry immediately hopped in pain and limped directly off the court into the locker room.

The Warriors ruled him out a few minutes later. Specifics of his injury aren’t known.

Curry finished the night with 18 points, six assists and four rebounds. He shot 6-of-11 from the field and 4-of-7 from behind the arc.

The Warriors entered Sunday night’s game with a perfect 2-0 record this season. They opened the season with a 36-point rout of the Portland Trail Blazers, where Curry was just a rebound shy of a triple-double, and then they beat the Utah Jazz by 41 points on Friday.

This post will be updated with more information shortly.
