HILLSBORO, Ore. (KATU) — Washington County is offering $25,000 grants to small business owners in the area.
This spring, small businesses in Washington County can apply for five grants, with 20 applicants eligible to receive a one-year Washington County Chamber of Commerce membership.
Applications are due by May 15 and must meet the following criteria:
- Operate a business registered in Washington County
- Generate annual gross revenue of less than $2 million
- Maintain a minimum of one year in business tenure
- Employ ten individuals or fewer
Grant winners will be announced at the Washington County Chamber annual business meeting on May 30. To learn more about InRoads and the Small Business Grant program click here.
The grants are being funded as part of the Fiserv Back2Business program, a $50 million commitment to support small businesses.
County officials say this is thanks to a partnership between the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, InRoads Credit Union, and financial technology provider Fiserv.
