The Duke Blue Devils men’s basketball team hosts the Maine Black Bears on Monday (7 p.m., ACC Network) at Cameron Indoor Stadium in the 2024-25 season opener.

Entering their third season under head coach Jon Scheyer, the seventh-ranked Blue Devils return lead guards Tyrese Proctor and Caleb Foster to surround 10 newcomers. Top-ranked recruit Cooper Flagg, a Maine native and the projected No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, headlines a six-player recruiting class. Flagg’s younger brother, Ace, recently committed to play college basketball at Maine.

Duke also added a quartet of players via the transfer portal, including Tulane’s Sion James, Syracuse’s Maliq Brown and Purdue’s Mason Gillis.
