Tennessee basketball’s first real test of the season takes place in a true road game at Louisville on Saturday.

The Vols beat Gardner-Webb on Monday to open the season, led by North Florida transfer Chaz Lanier’s team-high 18 points.

Louisville, under first-year coach Pat Kelsey, earned a 93-45 win over Morehead State to open the season, a change from the shaky results against mid-major competition of the Kenny Payne era.
