What Thiago Motta told Juventus and Italy legend Bonucci in latest meeting

Thiago Motta reveals he and Leonardo Bonucci spoke about the coach’s job in modern football when the former defender visited Juventus at Continassa earlier this week.

Former Italy international Bonucci returned to the Juventus training centre on November 7 to meet some of his ex-teammates and the new faces at the club.

“Leo and I spoke about many things, including his perspective on the future,” Juventus coach Motta said at a press conference on Friday.

“He has completed the coaching course. We had a conversation about football and how things work in this job, which could be different from what he had experienced as a player. I’ve known him for a long time. We played together with the national team, and it was an honour to receive his visit.”

During his meeting with the media, Motta said Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz would not be available against Torino in the derby della Mole on Saturday.
