What to know about Colorado State basketball exhibition games

Colorado State basketball season unofficially begins this week.

The Rams men’s and women’s hoops teams host exhibitions at Moby Arena as a final tuneup before the season. It’s the lone public exhibition for each team.

Here’s what to know about the games:

Colorado State women host Regis

  • What: CSU women’s basketball team vs. Regis in an exhibition
  • When: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29
  • Where: Moby Arena
  • Notable: The Rams have eight new players who will be playing at Moby for the first time. The group is headlined by Creighton transfer Emma Ronsiek, who was voted the Mountain West preseason Player of the Year.

Colorado State men host Adams State

  • What: CSU men’s basketball team vs. Adams State in an exhibition
  • When: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30
  • Where: Moby Arena
  • Notable: The Rams have 10 new players who will be playing at Moby for the first time. CSU beat Adams State 106-61 in a regular-season game last year. Former Fort Collins High School guard Jayce King is on the Adams State roster.

When does CSU open regular season?

The regular season is nearly here. The Rams play a women-men doubleheader on Nov. 4 to begin the season.

The CSU women host San Francisco at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at Moby.

The CSU men host North Dakota at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4.
