Drivers in Austin should prepare for significant road closures and traffic delays around the Texas Longhorns’ matchup against UT-San Antonio this weekend. To manage the influx of fans, streets near Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium will be blocked off before and after the game.

Austin road closures for Texas football vs UTSA
Commercial vehicles
Large vehicles and trucks entering the stadium block will be searched at the Commercial Delivery entry point located at Robert Dedman Dr. and Dean Keeton and at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and San Jacinto Blvd. beginning at 6 a.m. the day of the game.
Time of Traffic Restrictions
Traffic control points and one-way traffic around the stadium also go into effect at 6 a.m. on game day. Only vehicles with the appropriate Longhorn Foundation permits and ADA placards or license plates will be admitted.
