The Orange were back in the L column following an 86-59 loss to Creighton in the. Emerald Coast Challenge. Syracuse fell to 3-4 on the season, but are two still games away from the crucial first clash with an ACC opponent.
Keira Scott was the highest scorer for the Orange with 11 points, while Creighton was led by Morgan Maly and Lauren Jenson, who net 28 and 21 points, respectively. By halftime, Syracuse was behind 55-21 with little hope of recovery.
Syracuse won 60-58 when these teams clashed in 2022 — their only previous meeting. Yale is an abysmal 1-6 to start the season.
