Wild Prospect Earns Big Ten Third Star Of The Week

Date:

Minnesota Wild prospect and former first round pick Charlie Stramel, was given Big-Ten third star of the week honors after his big weekend against Boston College.

Stramel, 20, scored twice on Saturday and won more than 70% of his faceoffs in the Spartans’ 4-3 win over Boston College.

After playing the first two years of his College career at the University of Wisconsin, Stramel transferred to Michigan State in the offseason.

In four games for the Spartans, Stramel has two goals and three points. He opened the season as Michigan State’s first line center and played last weekend as its second line center.
