Charles Schwab Cup in Phoenix next month

The Phoenix Country Club will host the PGA Tour Champions’ Charles Schwab Cup Championship from Thursday to Sunday, Nov. 7-10. The 2024 season-ending event will be the 50th professional golf tournament played at Phoenix Country Club in the historic venue’s 125-year history — more than any other golf facility in Arizona.

PGA Tour Champions is a membership organization of professional golfers age 50 and older, including 35 members of the World Golf Hall of Fame.

The Charles Schwab Cup Championship has been played at Phoenix Country Club since 2017 after relocating from Desert Mountain Country Club. The PGA Tour Champions announced last year that Phoenix Country Club will continue to host the Charles Schwab Cup Championship through 2032.

The third and final event of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, the Championship will feature the top 36 golfers in the standings and determine the annual Charles Schwab Cup Champion. This year’s field is expected to include current Schwab Cup points leader Ernie Els, 2023 champion Steven Alker, Stephen Ames, Richard Green, K.J. Choi, Jerry Kelly, Padraig Harrington, Stewart Cink, Darren Clarke, Bernhard Langer, Rocco Mediate and more.

The tournament can be seen Thursday through Sunday on the Golf Channel from 3 to 5 p.m. Phoenix time. Gates open each day at 10 a.m. with free shuttle service available from Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum. For information on parking and to purchase tickets, visit www.schwabcup.com.
