Indiana Fever News

Confirmed Lineup: Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, Lexie Hull, NaLyssa Smith, Aliyah Boston

In the last game, Clark surpassed the previous WNBA rookie record for three-pointers made in a season (85), set by Rhyne Howard in 2022. Clark has made 88 threes this year, and Indiana still has nine games left in the regular season. The Fever won that most recent contest, beating Connecticut by four points. They’ll now take on the Sky, who have struggled mightily as of late, posting the league’s third-worst Net Rating (-8.1) this month.

Chicago Sky News

Confirmed Lineup: Lindsay Allen, Rachel Banham, Michaela Onyenwere, Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso

The Sky have lost five of six games in August, including four straight. Their field goal (41.1%), three-point (28.8%), and free throw (67.6%) percentages all rank bottom-three league-wide this month. It won’t be easy to turn things around against the Lynx, arguably the WNBA’s hottest team. Minnesota has gone undefeated in August while averaging a league-high 90.3 points per game.

Minnesota Lynx News

Confirmed Lineup: Courtney Williams, Kayla McBride, Bridget Carleton, Napheesa Collier, Alanna Smith

Dallas Wings News

Confirmed Lineup: Jacy Sheldon, Arike Ogunbowale, Satou Sabally, Natasha Howard, Teaira McCowan

Atlanta Dream News

Confirmed Lineup: Jordin Canada, Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard, Naz Hillmon, Lorela Cubaj

  • Tina Charles (personal) — Out

  • Aerial Powers (calf) — Injured

  • Cheyenne Parker-Tyus (ankle) — Injured

The Dream have been one of the league’s streakiest teams this season. They’ve lost 11 of their last 15 games, including each of their previous three, and now head to Las Vegas to face the Aces. Atlanta lost by 14 points in the most recent meeting between the two teams. If the Dream are going to keep their postseason hopes alive, they’ll need to string together some wins in their final 10 games. They’re currently the ninth seed and one game behind the Sky for the final playoff spot.

Las Vegas Aces News

Confirmed Lineup: Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum, Tiffany Hayes, Alysha Clark, A’ja Wilson

New York Liberty News

Projected Lineup: Courtney Vandersloot, Sabrina Ionescu, Leonie Fiebich, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones

New York was upset by Los Angeles in the previous contest. While the Sparks have been one of the league’s worst teams, it was apparent that the Liberty were missing Jones’ contributions, as she missed her first game since joining the team in 2023. Jones is uncertain to play against the Storm, and her possible absence would put the Liberty at an obvious frontcourt disadvantage.

Seattle’s Ezi Magbegor and Nneka Ogwumike each rank top-12 in rebounding, averaging 8.7 and 7.7 per contest, respectively. Jones grabs 9.3 boards per game, the fifth-most of any player league-wide.

Seattle Storm News

Confirmed Lineup: Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jewell Loyd, Jordan Horston, Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor
