The Dragons begin the season with three straight home games at the DAC. In the season-opener, the reigning CAA Champions will unveil their conference championship banner against Marist on Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. Six days later, Drexel welcomes the La Salle Explorers to the DAC for the team’s inaugural Women’s Big 5 game. Wrapping up the three-game homestand, UC Irvine travels to Philadelphia on Nov. 20.
Drexel hits the road for two games, including the team’s second Big 5 game against Temple on Nov. 23, and a trip on Nov. 26 to State College to face the Nittany Lions before Thanksgiving.
After Thanksgiving, the Dragons play Lehigh at home on Dec. 4, before turning their attention towards the Big 5 Classic, which will be played at Villanova on Dec. 6. The Dragons then play their final two games before the holiday break at Florida State (Dec. 15) and at Norfolk State (Dec. 18). Drexel closes its nonconference slate against Lebanon Valley on Dec. 29.
Coastal Athletic Association play begins on Jan. 3 against Delaware in the Blue Hens final appearance at the DAC as a CAA member. Drexel faces Campbell, Delaware, Elon, Monmouth and Northeastern twice. The Dragons will host Charleston, UNCW, Towson and William & Mary at home only and make trips to Hampton, Hofstra, North Carolina A&T and Stony Brook.
After hosting Stony Brook on Jan.5, the team then travels to Hempstead, N.Y., to face the Pride and then South to play North Carolina A&T and Hampton.
The Dragons host Charleston and Elon on Jan. 24 and Jan. 26 as part of Drexel’s Homecoming weekend. Drexel closes out January with a trip to Boston to face Northeastern.
In February, The Dragons have four home games, including a contest with Towson on Feb. 2. After a trip to Monmouth, they host UNCW and William & Mary. They close the month with two road games (at Campbell and Elon) before returning to the DAC on Feb. 28 to face Monmouth. Campbell will visit for Senior Day on March 2 before Coach Amy Mallon‘s team closes the year with road games at Delaware and Stony Brook.
The Dragons will look the defend their CAA Championship starting March 12 in Washington, D.C. The five-day tournament returns to the Entertainment & Sports Arena for the second year.
