Women’s Basketball Unveils 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule – University of Maryland, Baltimore County

BALTIMORE — First year UMBC Women’s Basketball head coach Candice Hill announced the non-conference schedule for her inaugural campaign on Friday. 

The slate is highlighted by a huge opening night home game against Maryland on November 4. 

Overall, the non-conference schedule features 12 games, with six at home, including five in November alone.

After welcoming the Terps to open the season, the Retrievers will host Notre Dame of Maryland on Nov.6,  before hitting the road with a short trip to Loyola on Nov.10.

A three game homestand is on deck against Morgan State (Nov.17), American (Nov.20), and Manhattan (Nov. 24) before the Retrievers hit the road for five straight away games. First, a two-game Thanksgiving tournament at Colgate on Nov. 29-30, followed by a road contest at rival Towson on Dec.4, and then a game ar Saint Francis (PA) on Dec.8. 

The Retrievers will then take a short break for finals before finishing the away stretch at George Mason on Dec. 20. The team will then complete the non-conference schedule at home against Bryn Athyn on Dec.29.

The America East schedule and all game times  will be unveiled at a later date.
