Women’s Basketball Wraps up Second Exhibition Match – SIUE

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill.- Three players scored in double figures before falling to Maryville Monday afternoon at Frist Community Arena.
 
Brianna Wooldridge scored 17 points to lead the team. Ava Stoller had 15 points. She also chipped in a game high of six rebounds. Meegan Fahy chipped in 11 points. Fahy and Wooldridge each had five rebounds.
 
SIUE connected 32% (21-65) of its shots from the field. The Cougars scored 39 points in the paint and 17 points off the bench. SIUE finished with 14 assists and eight turnovers.
 
Maryville was let by Madyson Rigdon (19 points) and Gracie Stugart (18 points).
 
The Cougars open the regular season Mon., Nov. 4 at home against Missouri-St.Louis.
