As previously mentioned losses by a team are part of the game. It is exceptionally rare to see a team go through an entire season undefeated. But the reaction to any City defeat is always fascinating to watch unfold.

For some sections of Manchester City’s fans, a loss signals a crisis. That is an extreme overreaction. The champions are facing an injury crisis with a host of players injured or playing under duress. That did contribute to City’s defeat to Bournemouth last weekend.
