This year, Paris Saint-Germain brought in two Brazilian talents, Lucas Beraldo and Gabriel Moscardo, during the January transfer window. Then in March, sporting advisor Luis Campos traveled to South America to sign another young player.
The capital club’s newest transfer policy will focus on securing young, hungry talent eager to prove themselves. PSG continued with this strategy this past summer with the arrival of Willian Nacho and João Neves.
Nonetheless, another player that could be on the Parisians’ radar is Grêmio’s youth player Gabriel Mec. In March, Brazilian media outlet Band reported that Mec joined Arsenal and PSG’s monitoring list.
The standout youngster, who turned 16 on April 11th, has already agreed to sign his first professional contract with Grêmio. Moreover, that contract was signed on Thursday as the teenager is now linked to the Brazilian club until 2027.
“This afternoon, the 16-year-old striker signed his first professional contract with Tricolor,” the club said in the announcement. “May it be a successful cycle, ace.”

There’s no other information regarding the finances or whether PSG has sent any scouts to see the player from the report in March, but this should be a player that the Ligue 1 side have their radar on.
