No joke: Astrologically, this next year is going to be a little bit chaotic. The astrology of 2025 and your zodiac sign’s love horoscope invites not only hectic aspects, but also some very rare cosmic moments—creating romantic situations that we haven’t yet experienced in decades… or possibly ever. This can create opportunities for new budding relationships, provide tension in current relationships, or possibly cause some reminiscence for an old partnership. Each year, we can be certain of a few things happening in the astrological calendar. This year, you can expect all of that with some sprinkling of bi-yearly transits, decades-long endings, and never-before-seen moments.
In terms of love, there are a few very important transits to take note of. First up, we have a Venus retrograde occurring from March 1 to April 24. This bi-yearly transit skipped 2024 to grace us with its presence in 2025. But what makes this particular Venus retrograde important is that in its latter half, it will travel in Pisces, near the North Node. This means that Venus, the planet of love and partnership, will be crossing over a very karmic, very important point in the sky a few times—which will cause us to really re-evaluate our partnerships.
The second major thing will affect some more than others, and that is: the four eclipses. As I mentioned before, four eclipses is typical. But what’s atypical about these eclipses is that we’re starting a brand-new 18-month eclipse cycle as the North and South Nodes move into Pisces and Virgo. Consider this “cycle” a new life lesson chapter. So, if it’s falling in your fifth or seventh house, it has the potential to affect your love life.
Finally, we have two major ingresses (when a planet moves into a new sign) happening in 2025 that will alter the romantic landscape. On March 30, Neptune enters Aries. On May 24, Saturn enters Aries. On July 7, Uranus enters Gemini. These outer planets don’t move very fast, so when they enter new signs, the energy shift can be felt collectively. In the love world, Neptune and Saturn’s presence in Aries makes love feel more like a battlefield than a fuzzy place to land. It can prompt competition and impatience, but it can also make us more brave and bold. You’ll still need to endure a Venus retrograde, starting March 1, in the parts of your chart that are all about the self and the subconscious. Consider it an ego vs. id conversation in the love realm. Starting in your sign, this Venus retrograde asks you to reflect on the love lessons you learned in the past year and a half. Then, as it moves into Pisces on March 27, you will be asked to dip into your subconscious with questions like: What do you really need in order to feel valued? What do you hide away? In childhood, what do you think you lacked?

Taurus
